TX Muslim Government Ambassador Program

Join the Ambassador Program

CAIR-TX is proud to launch the TX Muslim Government Ambassador Program

This program is designed to train, inspire, and put everyday Texas Muslims to become Ambassadors of Islam and the Muslim community with our Government.

As an Ambassador, you'll be:

  • Training: You'll participate in our in-depth virtual Ambassador training course. This course is around 5 hours and is divided into small bite-sized pieces. Each video is 2 to 6 minutes long and covers a specific topic.
  • Getting to Work & Action Items: As you go through the training, our Government Affairs Department will reach out to you to get you to practice what you learned. To be an Ambassador, you will have to meet your elected officials, join a coalition, and hold a civic engagement event. Don't worry; we're here to help you every step of the way :D.
  • Networking & Relationship Building: Our team will hold quarterly Ambassador meetings for our Ambassadors to meet one another, share ideas, and collaborate. We'll also have our annual Ambassador conference to educate, inspire, and train our network. During the meeting, Ambassadors will also set the network's legislative agenda.

As an Ambassador, you'll be invited to our other activities such as:

  • Annual D.C. TX Muslim Lobby Day
  • The Bi-Annual Texas Muslim Capitol Day:TexasMuslimCapitolDay.com
  • Lead our Voter Registration Campaign & Website:#TXMuslimsVoteorg
