“I sincerely appreciate Governor Greg Abbott’s recent proclamation calling on all faith communities to pray for those impacted by the devastating floods in Central Texas. I am particularly heartened by the inclusive language of the proclamation, which acknowledges the vital role that all faith traditions play in healing and supporting our communities in times of crisis. This gesture of unity is a powerful reminder that we are brought together by our shared humanity and collective compassion.
